I got plenty of sleep last night, so I do not know why I was so exhausted and tired today. I was having a hard time staying awake in my first class this morning, so I tried to lie down between classes, and then I could not fall asleep, go figure. Classes finished up and I have been working on homework this afternoon. I went down to payless to get some shoes so I can go running, cuz I am tired of sitting here and having no physical activity all of the time except when I go skiing on the weekends. I took this photo when I was out getting shoes. Now I am going to dinner and then I have homework tonight…maybe I will go work out too.

It was quite a long day today, classes starting at 9:00 and finishing at 7:30….I was really tired during some of my classes, so I am going to try to get to bed right after this tonight. I have been doing homework all this afternoon and night, besides when I was in class tonight. It’s been really busy for some reason, and I have a lot to do these next couple weeks. I took this photo tonight when I went to print out some homework due tomorrow. This is our wonderful library on campus, wonderful eh? I think I almost died out there taking pictures because it was so cold, seriously I think I almost got frostbite...haha. I talked to Kate for a little while tonight, finished up some more work, and now I am ready for bed!

There went another Monday…another day of education past, another day filled with work, another day that the Lord has made. I missed breakfast this morning, so I went to the coffee shop and got a fruit parfait on my way to chapel. After my classes were over today, I started on my homework and I have been working on it all afternoon. I have been trying to get into the habit of doing my homework earlier so I don’t have to stay up late; it’s a slow, but hopefully sure process. I was on my way to dinner, when I saw the sunset, so of course, I had to run back and grab my camera to take this photo. Back to the homework for me, hopefully I will be done soon.

I had planned on going to church this morning, but apparently my body decided it needed more sleep. I woke up at 8:00 to go to the early service, but then I promptly fell back asleep. At 10:00 Kate text messaged me, so I woke up and decided I would go to the late service, but then somehow I fell right back asleep and woke up at lunch time. I don’t know how I slept that long, I have never slept in that late in the day before. I went to lunch with Alex, and then came back here to do homework until I had to go to work. It was really busy at work tonight, but I did not make as good money as last night. I talked to Kate for a little while tonight, and now I am finishing up my Bible Study Methods assignment, then it is off to bed for me. I took this photo when I was working today, I saw the Mini Cooper and wanted a photo of it, it turned out to be a pretty cool photo, the black and white turned out really weird though, it is definitely different.

We got up to Mt. Hood this morning right as they were opening. It was not too crowded, for a Saturday. I only skied until noon, because I wasn’t feeling to well. I was got really tired all of a sudden and I was kinda dizzy and lightheaded, so I went to lie down in my truck while Aaron snowboarded for a while. We left around 1:00 so I could get back and go to work. It was a nice day, a little cold, but pretty good, it’s to bad I wasn’t feeling very well, cuz I wanted to get some pictures of me doing a couple of the jumps. This photo is another shot of Mt. Hood; I liked how the black and white turned out on this one, dark and crisp. I worked for about four hours tonight; it was busy tonight, so I made some good money.

We had a day of prayer here at school today. We had to meet at the chapel early at 8:00 this morning, and we were there until 12:00 when it finished. It was a good morning, although it was hard staying awake. This afternoon I did homework and watched a little bit of 24. I took this photo after dinner tonight behind our dorm. Tomorrow I am going skiing with Aaron, I am excited, it is going to be fun.

Once again, a day without any excitement…something that was very unusual before I moved away to college. There was always something happening, some incident or something that was going on when I was growing up…we always had some sort of adventure or traumatic event going on when we were young, or at least it seemed like it. Well, moving on from my childhood recollections…I had my usual classes, did some homework, and watched an episode of 24, then I talked to Kate for a little bit tonight. This weekend isn’t going to be too bad with homework. I think I am going to try to go skiing on Saturday before I have to work, we will see…

Not much happened today, just the usual classes and homework. I had an hour break between classes this morning, so I slept, because, as usual, I was really tired. I took this photo tonight outside by the cafeteria. I did not really have any homework tonight, so I did a bunch of work ahead, so I didn’t have to do it this weekend. I am talking to my parents on the webcam right now, and later tonight I am going to talk to Kate for a while.

It was a very long day today, but I did have a lunch break today, so that was a nice change from yesterday. I had five classes today, four during the day, and one tonight. I took this photo on the way to my western civilization class tonight. It took me a while, but I finished my class summary essay for my advanced writing class tonight. A little more homework tonight, and then its off to bed for me.

Mondays are always depressing, especially when for some reason you think it’s Thursday, but then you remember you have a whole week ahead of you. Haha…I guess that is a sign of a busy weekend huh? Well, classes were long today, I have a lot of classes in a row, so I don’t get to eat lunch until 1:00, which makes me very hungry and hard to pay attention in my 12:00 class. I did homework this afternoon and tonight, and I got it all done early, which is very nice for a change. This photo…is of my feet, in case you were guessing. :)

I went to church this morning, as usual for Sundays…After church I came back and worked on my paper for the afternoon. I was on call for work from 1:00 till 4:00, but they were not busy so I did not have to go in until 4:00. It was pretty slow tonight, so I only worked until 6:30. I asked to get off early so I could get all my homework done for the night. I actually just finished everything, so I am ahead of schedule, which is very nice, so I am going to start working ahead on some stuff, so maybe I won’t be so stressed later! This photo is from earlier today. I took the photo and zoomed out as the shutter was open, which gives it the blurred effect on the sides of the frame; I kinda like how it turned out.

It took me forever to fall asleep last night, so I slept in this morning…ha, not like it would have mattered if I went to bed late or not. I got up and did not do much this morning, besides check myspace. I went to lunch with Alex and then came back to do some homework. I had to go buy notes for my history class this afternoon…it was $17.50 for them! Who charges that much for a pack of notes?!?! It was crazy, and it made me not so happy. I went to work this afternoon and worked for quite a while. I made average money tonight, nothing special though. I got back here to my room and had a wonderful cup of noodles, and then talked to Kate for a while. Now I am working on my paper for Bible Study Methods, it’s on Jonah, which is why I took this photo; it’s all I have been doing this weekend.

I got up early to do an assignment for Bible Study Methods and then went to my two classes for the day. I found out I have a 6-8 page paper due on Monday…that ruins the weekend! So I will be working on that all weekend I guess. I took a nap this afternoon because I was really tired for some reason, although I think it made me more tired than before. I did procrastinate on my work a little bit tonight and watch a movie with Alex, but now I am going to work diligently! I promise! This photo is an envelope from the letter I received from Kate today, its always so very nice to get letters from her, they are my favorite.

We finally had classes today, although they did delay everything for two hours because of the ice on the roads, which was ok, because I got to sleep in. I was in classes all day, and then shopping around for books this afternoon, finding the best prices so I can spend the least money, cuz I am kinda thrifty like that. I had my history class tonight after dinner, and now I am here for a few things of homework to do. This photo I just took…its me, incase you could not guess…I was bored, can you tell? I am off to homework land, for the next four months.

The snow is still here…so they cancelled school again today. I worked from 11:00-3:00 today, it was really slow and I did not make much. Nothing else has been happening. I went to dinner around 6:00, and that’s about it. This is our new lamp…I guess the old one broke, so Alex took it back and exchanged it for this new one.

This morning I woke up to a bunch of guys yelling and screaming…so I got up to see what the ruckus was about. I looked outside when I got out of bed and there was about four inches of snow outside…which was what everyone was yelling about, so I went back to bed, cuz I new school was cancelled with snow like that. I went out to a park this afternoon with Aaron, because he wanted to snowboard, and do some rails, so I went to take photos. This photo was from when we were at the park. It’s been a pretty boring day, not much going on. My work called me and wanted me to come work, so I did because they gave me extra money because of the snow. I worked for a couple hours and made $50 in tips, so it was not bad. School is cancelled for tomorrow as well…so I am going to work tomorrow again. I have been here for a week and I have gone to one class! What’s up with this!?!?!

I decided to go skiing with Aaron this morning. We left really early, like 7:00, so we could get up to the mountain in time for opening and get a good parking spot. We arrived right around 8:30 for a nice blue sky day full of great snow and surprisingly not to crowded lifts, especially for a holiday. We both needed to be back early for things, so we left around 2:00, instead of staying all day. I came back and went to dinner with Alex, then hung out in our room for a while. Tonight I went to observe a refugee ministry through Imago Dei, it was really neat, I think I may start doing it. I would be working with kids helping with homework and also helping the family get acquainted with our culture and getting to know them, kinda mentoring them I guess. It sounds like it will be a really cool ministry to work in. This photo was from earlier this afternoon, we stopped at a rest stop for a few minutes on the way back, and I decided to take a few photos while we were sitting there. I messed around with a couple things in Photoshop that I learned in a photography book I got for Christmas, and came out with this sepia tone, I really like how it looks…

Church this morning at 11:00…then back to campus for lunch. I did not do much this afternoon. I went down to the river around sunset, as you can see by the photo. I went to a photography gallery while I was down there, it was kinda weird, because it was open, but no one was there…at all, like not one person plus it was in the industrial district, like where an art gallery should not be…it was interesting though, and I liked some of the photos there. After I took photos down there for a while I came back for dinner, and now I am here. Pretty exciting day eh?

I got up at 7:00 this morning and got ready to go skiing; we left at 7:45, but did not get up to the resort until almost 9:45 because of traffic. It was really busy up at Mount Hood, but it was a really good day. We skied until 4:00, a full day. We hit some powder, did a couple tree runs, and also skied the park for a while. It was Aaron, Dan, Michelle, Trista, and I today; it was a lot of fun. I had to, obviously, take my camera, and of course it was gorgeous up there, so I took a few photos. I really wanted to go ski the mountain, but I am sure it would be quite a hike, plus dangerous because of avalanches. It took us a long time to get back to campus, again, because of traffic. Besides being freezing cold most of the day, I had a lot of fun and I am now very warn out. I am going to sleep well tonight!

Chapel, two classes, lunch, and then I was done for the day. My second class actually did not meet, because the teacher never showed up, so we just left after fifteen minutes. I did not do much the rest of today…I printed out a couple of my syllabi and got my mail. After dinner tonight I went to REI and got some new gloves with a gift card I go for Christmas from my Aunt. I am going skiing tomorrow, so hopefully my hands will be warm with the new gloves. This photo is form when I went downtown to REI. I walked around for a few minutes downtown and I found this neat little park/walkway…I think it looked neat.

I had my alarm set for 8:00 this morning so I could get to my first class at 9:00, but at 7:55 someone knocked on our door and told us classes were cancelled because it has snowed, so I slept in till 11:00! It was so nice…very needed. I have not done much at all today except a few small things. I went and got my paycheck and made a bank deposit, but besides that I just sat here and myspaced all day. I took this photo on the way back from the bank. I thought it looked neat, so I pulled over and took a few photos. As long as it does not snow again tonight, we will have our first day of classes tomorrow.

All I did all day today was drive…yup. I slept a couple hours in a hotel parking lot this morning, but besides that I drove the whole time. I finally arrived up here in Portland at about 8:00 tonight. This photo was from when I was driving today, it is kinda crocked, but I really like how it looks, it’s neat. Now I am going to bed, because I am super tired, and I have classes tomorrow. Goodnight!

I woke up Kate this morning at 8:30, and then we went to breakfast. It was a nice morning, just hanging out, not having to work or do anything but enjoy ourselves. For lunch we got sushi, which was AMAZING…ah I love it! This afternoon we went out behind Kate’s house, up in the woods, to take a walk and some photos. As you can see here, I got a few photos of her. A lot of the photos turned out really well, I was surprised. After taking pictures, we went up to my house to pack all my stuff. We went over to see the animals at Randy’s, because Kate had not been there in a while. After we finished packing we came back here to Kate’s house for dinner. I decided I am leaving tonight to start my drive up to Portland. I am going to drive until I get tired, and then sleep for a while, and finish my drive tomorrow.

It was my last day working today; tomorrow I am taking the day off to hang out with Kate. Work was pretty slow today, it was only Jake and I working, we did about fifty orders. After work I went to Kate’s for a little while, and then we came out to my house, where we are at right now. I was taking pictures of the fireplace and then Duke came over so I had him sit for a few pictures, isn’t he so photogenic? Haha. Break is almost over…it’s so sad; I am not ready for school again.

This morning I went to church and then I went over to Kate’s for a while. In the afternoon Kate went to coffee with some of her friends, so I went to the park, which explains this photo. This boat was sitting on swim beach at the park, I thought it looked neat; the only thing was I had to stand on my toes to barely get the shot over the fence, it was funny. We went to dinner tonight with Ami-Rose and Jared and then we watched Pirates of the Caribbean 2. Tomorrow is my last day of work….
