Today we only worked a half day because Jake and Matt had to go down the hill to pick up some motorcycle gear. I went down the hill later with Kate to see Ann Lynn play in Riverside. It was a fun show even though it took forever to get there because of traffic. Shane was there so we went to get some food after we left with him. It was a fun day, being able to be done with work early was really nice.

Well…it was another long day of work again today as it has been for a while. We could not get the parts to fix the saw mill today, so we began to paint the house. We did not finish it all up before the end of the day, but we did get a good chunk of work out of the way. This photo is of Duke on the lawn right after we gave him a nice shower and wash…he was not too happy about the wash, but he did survive. Kate came over around dinner time and hung out. We watched a movie before she had to go back home…it was a nice night.

We started the day off with chain sawing a bunch of trees for the saw mill. We began sawing with the mill, but it only lasted a few minutes because it broke again. We should have it all fixed up tomorrow so that we can get some wood and finish up this deck. I took this photo at Ami-Rose’s house. I went over there for a barbeque tonight.

It was another day of working on the deck and waiting for the mill today. We got a bunch of the deck done today, but we are going to need some more lumber from the saw mill soon. We did not work to late tonight because Dad and Mom had small group.

Back to work today…and for the rest of the week. We laid down a bunch of decking today because we were waiting to get some parts for the saw mill. A few people came out to make and have dinner with us. I took this photo on the way to Kate’s tonight, by the lake.

Today is the day that we celebrate Matt’s birthday. Matt’s real birthday is on December 24th, but we celebrate it in June as his half birthday. We went to lunch the movies this afternoon before coming back home for Matt’s birthday party. A ton of people showed up and we had a fun time. This photo is Jared, Matt, Max, and Duke up on one of the rock piles up at our house. It was a fun day and I enjoyed not having to work.

We actually got a good amount of lumber cut today! The trees we cut down were not rotten so we got a nice stack of wood to build with now. Tomorrow we are taking the day off since it us Sunday. I took this photo of Kate, because she was being silly and hiding in the corner of her room.

Guess what…yup, another day of hard work, and I don’t think it’s going to stop anytime soon. We have to get our deck done before we leave for Lake Powell in two weeks because we have some people using it for a wedding. Tonight we went to Kelsey’s birthday party, which is where this photo is from…I liked the lights at her house so I took this shot.

Jake and I have been cutting down trees today for the saw mill. We got three huge pine trees so that should hold us over and give us a good amount of lumber to build with. It was a nice long day of work and I am really tired from chain sawing so much, but it is good cuz I am building some great muscles! Haha.

A bunch of guys came out to help with the deck this afternoon so it was an extra long work day. We have not been doing to well on the wood cutting today, seeing as most of the logs are rotten so we are not producing good wood. I took this photo on my way to town after work.

This is Dave Peters helping us out with building our deck. Dave and Kathy came out from Pennsylvania for the week and they have been helping out around the house. They have both been a lot of help, plus providing good company for our family. We are making slow progress with the wood cutting, but we are getting it done.

Today was completely filled with work…we milled wood all day long for the deck, and we have a lot more ahead of us. This photo is of my Dad working the saw mill. Jake and I off-load the wood from the mill into a trailer so we can take it over to the house where we are building our deck. This week is going to be really busy with work…

We had church this morning and then came back home for lunch. This afternoon we washed my dad’s truck since it is father’s day. The rest of the afternoon has been pretty lazy…Tonight we had a big dinner, so I am really full now. This photo is of Dave’s daughter Elisa; she was having fun with Duke. Kate gets back tonight, so I am excited about seeing her.

Today Jake, Matt and I went riding with my Aunt and Uncle down by Angelous Oaks. We went down the Santa Ana river trail and then back up glass road to our trucks. It was a really fun ride, but the uphill parts were tough. I only feel like three times…haha. I have never ridden a single track on a mountain bike before so I had to get the hang of it. I took a bunch of photos but most of them were all messed up for some reason. This is Jake and my Uncle Mark and Aunt Suzanne where the trail meets up with the road. It was a fun day of riding, but I am super tired and exhausted. I went into town and hung out with Shane, Ben, and Jared after we got back from the ride and now I am back at home for the night. Kate gets back from Cambodia tomorrow so I am super excited about that.

Matt and I went down the hill this morning to get a few things for my Dad so we could get the sawmill running. It ended up taking us all the way until noon to get back up the hill. We worked on the sawmill all afternoon and got almost everything done. We should have it all up and running by Monday so we can start cutting wood for our new deck out back. Well, it has been quite a long exhausting day of work. It was almost eighty degrees today and I was working out in the sun, so it stole all of my energy. I think tonight was the first night our family has had dinner alone together since last Monday’s tragedy hit. It is nice to get a little bit of alone time, but at the same time we all need the support of everyone. I just stayed home tonight because I was too tired to make an effort to find anyone to hang out with. This photo is of two roses that are hanging on my wall from the service on Thursday. Tomorrow will be another day full of hard work out in the sun….

I finally decided to work today! Even though I got a little bit of a late start I did get a bunch of work done for my Dad. I am pretty darn tired now after working out in the hot sun all day long. Kelsey and Taylor came over for dinner tonight after I finished up my work. My mom made a fantastic dinner of Tri-tip, Tortellini, Corn and Fruit Salad tonight, it was wonderful. Kelsey and Taylor once again get photo of the day with their playing on the lawn.

I once again took the day off work so I could sleep in and then go down the hill to meet with some instructors at Mt. SAC where I will be attending in the fall. I ended up spending a couple hours down there longer and not finding out all that I needed, but oh well, that’s what college is all about right? Not knowing what is going on. I took this photo as I was driving on the freeway. For some reason I love freeway overpasses and I always want to stop in the middle of the freeway to take photos. Since that is out of the picture I guess I will just have to settle with driving photos.

I took the day off work because this is my last day with Kate for the week. We hung out and Kate packed for most of the day. Our precious Preston Randall Schwilson passed away sadly enough. I guess the stress from moving around and the bladder disorder finally got to him. We went back to the store and got Preston Randall Schwilson the 2nd so the Schwilson line will still live on. Duke is looking pretty sad and lonely in this photo; I think he really misses Seth. Tonight I took Kate and her Dad to LAX. They are going to Cambodia for the week on a mission’s trip.

This morning I played in place of Seth for the Random Cohort at church. It was really fun, although hard to get up there and play the concert. The rest of the day was spent hanging out with friends and doing nothing. I took this photo while driving; it is really long exposure…like ten minutes I think.

This morning Taylor and Kelsey came over with Gavin to hang out at our house. This photo is of Kelsey and Taylor playing with Duke out on our lawn. It was a fun morning hanging out with everyone. I headed into town to do a couple things before I had practice with Matt’s band. I stopped by a party at Shane’s house for Jared’s birthday tonight before I went to Kate’s for a while. It was a nice day; I am just really tired and ready for sleep.

Today was Kate’s little brother, Max’s birthday. Jared and I helped out with his party, which was a huge air soft war. It was Jared, Brent, and I against eight ruthless little boys. It was an intense air soft war and we got slaughtered. Even though we got beat and I got a ton of welts it was a really fun night. I do not get to be like a little boy very often so it was a lot of fun.

Today we had the memorial service for Seth at the church. It went really well, at least a lot better than I expected. I drove down the hill with Kate for the graveside service and we got lost so we were pretty late, but they waited for us. It has been a really long day and I am ready for a lot of sleep. This photo is of Kate’s new goldfish I bought her. His name is Preston Randall Schwilson. You might think from seeing this photo that our precious lion head goldfish is dead, but he is not. Preston has a bladder disorder from sucking in too much air when he eats so he likes to swim upside down every once in a while.

This has been another long tiring day full of preparations for tomorrow’s service. I finally finished the slideshow for everything and I believe I am ready…as ready as one can be for his own brother’s memorial service. Please continue to pray for our family, it is much needed. We must rely on the hope that we have the hope in Jesus Christ and the strength that He provides. This photo is of Esme, who is Josh and Andria’s little girl. She was helping Jessica cook in the kitchen, which was really cute, so I grabbed a few photos.

Today has been filled with preparations for Seth’s memorial service. Shane came over to help me sort through photos for the service. We have had people over to support us and help out all day.

I do not know where to even start for today. This has been the worst day of my entire life. This photo sort of explains the feelings that are going on right now…a whole lot of dark, but with hope coming out over the top.
This morning we came to find that my little baby brother, Seth Thomas Wilson, who was 15, chose to take his life. I do not know what to say besides that. We are all is shock, for it came out of nowhere. Please pray for our family. We have a lot of support from friends everywhere, so that is good. In a situation like this it is so confusing and haunting, yet we have hope. We have Jesus Christ who is our Savior and Lord. Jesus is our hope; He is our salvation, and our peace. This is what we must hold to. Please pray…

Today I went down to San Diego with a bunch of people to Zeneta and Brain’s wedding. It took us a while to get down there due to car problems, but we did get there. It was a really cool wedding; it definitely fit Z. I had a bunch of photos from today, but I decided on this one since it was their wedding day I figured they should make it for daily photo. I had a lot of fun, seeing friends, hanging out, and playing around. We just got back and it is quite late, so I should be heading to sleep so I have the energy to work tomorrow…

Once again I had to go down the hill this morning for more parts. This time it took me longer and I did not get home until lunch because of all the traffic. There were a million motorcycles coming up the hill for a weekend event and they were all driving 25 miles an hour so it took me forever to get back. I guess it is also a Viper weekend so I saw a ton of them driving up the hill and I could not resist a few photos of them. We finally finished everything on the tractor today so it is up and running…which means lots more work next week!

This morning I went down the hill to pick up the radiator for the tractor and go to Home Depot. When I got home I installed the radiator, which took a couple hours. After lunch Jake and I took apart one of the hubs on the tractor to fix it because it was leaking. Kate and I were supposed to go to dinner with Kelsey tonight, but she decided not to go, so we just ate at Kate’s house. I took this photo on the drive home tonight; the moon was looking cool so I decided to get a blurry shot with the moon in it…

Today Jake and I dug a hole under one of the cabins to fix a water pipe. It took us all day to dig under the house and fix it. I am really sore now and worn out from digging. Kate and I went down the hill to see the third Pirates movie and to go to dinner; it was a really nice night.

It was another long day of work again today. Matt and I were helping Jake with our cement mixer, so I decided to get some photos. We were trying to get all of the dried cement out so we were banging on it with a sledge; it was really hard and tiring. I am really tired from working, but it is good, cuz I am earning lots of money.
